International World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of water and advocating for the sustainable management of water resources. This special Day is dedicated to concrete activities such as the promotion of public awareness through the production and dissemination of documentaries and the organization of conferences, round tables, seminars and expositions related to the conservation and development of water resources. From this concept, we are taking the lead to organize the Alexandria Water Day Celebration for the third consecutive year as a cooperative event between Faculty of Engineering- Alexandria University, Alexandria Water Company, Alexandria Sewage Drainage Company .
